YOUR LAST LITTLE THING FOR CONTROL

The sooner you release to God that last hold-out for control of your life, the more content you'll be.  When you realize you're just along for the ride, and God's at the wheel, you will - under the power of the Holy Spirit - relinquish it, and then be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy your journey with God so much more (Psalms 138:8). 
Where God is taking you and me is too mysterious and wondrous to really comprehend (Psalm 145:3).   But, you must let him have that final little thing of control you've been gripping onto so tightly all these years.  Guess what?  If you're continually drawing closer to Him, He will convince you, as time passes, to let Him have that final little thing for which you've kept for yourself.  Why does He insist?  Because He can't bless us as beautifully as He wants to, unless we relinquish it all to Him.

Only One Thing Harder than Waiting on God

I'm now dealing with a personal matter that is way out of my control.  I don't feel led to divulge its specific nature, but I want to convey that I am confident God is in control of my situation
(Psalms 139:16).  I am convinced of this.
As I wait on His answer, I am satisfied with what He reveals to me each day.  I have peace of mind (for the most part), assured that he is working in me and through me (Phil. 2:13), and that He is working behind the scenes in ways I am unaware.
